Supporting Transgender Rights

We oppose any consideration or effort by politicians and lawmakers to narrowing gender to a biological, birth condition. We strongly oppose the stripping away of civil rights and recognition of transgender and gender nonconforming people. In particular, we advocate for the humanity and dignity of transgender and gender nonconforming college students, faculty, and staff who would experience further oppression by narrowing the definition of gender to biological, birth condition.
