Spouses enrolled into the plan, are subject to an annual spouse health access fee.  A new Dependent Application must be submitted to the DSGHP Office by the start of each plan year, as dependent enrollment is not automatic.

For "per term" enrollment fees (incoming exchange students or Dartmouth sponsored study abroad enrollments only), please contact the DSGHP office.

• New Students: August 1, 2023 – August 31, 2024
• Returning Students: September 1, 2023 – August 31, 2024

Dependent coverage starts September 1st. New students can enroll dependens on August 1st for an additional fee (contact the DSGHP Office about this).

If enrolling at Dartmouth midyear (winter, spring or summer start), you will be enrolled as of the term you start at Dartmouth for a prorated premium amount. Please contact the DSGHP office for premium amounts. For "per term" enrollment dates and waiver information (incoming exchange students or Dartmouth sponsored study abroad enrollments only), please contact the DSGHP office.

IF YOU ARE LOSING THE INSURANCE COVERAGE YOU INITIALLY WAIVED DSGHP COVERAGE WITH:

• You can enroll in DSGHP by submitting a Midyear Enrollment Application form (see DSGHP Forms). Coverage will begin as soon as the other coverage terminates, and the DSGHP office must receive the form within 31 days of the coverage loss. Please contact the DSGHP office for the prorated premium amount and details.

Coverage for current plan year terminates on August 31st, unless a student submits a Midyear Waiver, or Midyear Cancellation Form (and applicable supporting documentation), to cancel on December 31st or March 31st.
