Dartmouth Student Health Service

About the Student Health Service

The Dartmouth Student Health Service is comprised of Primary Care, Counseling, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dartmouth Student Group Health Plan office, Patient Accounts, Medical Records, and Sports Medicine. We serve the Dartmouth student population and believe that good health and mental well-being are vital parts of every student's college experience. We aim to provide high-quality care and services and to develop and promote health education information for students to maintain a healthy lifestyle during college and in the years ahead.

The Student Health Service is state-licensed and affiliated with the local hospital, Dartmouth Health. Our staff can assist with specialty referrals to Dartmouth Health (DH) or to other community providers as deemed appropriate. Students requiring immediate medical attention when the Health Service is closed are directed to local urgent care or to the Dartmouth Health Emergency Department located at 1 Medical Center Drive in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The cost of DH and other non-Health Service care is billed by the provider to the student. Students requiring immediate support for a mental health crisis can access crisis resources 24/7 by calling 603-646-9442
