The trainings and educational presentations that the Counseling Center offers to the Dartmouth community are focused on mental health awareness, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention. We are committed to the following:
1. Providing education about mental health concerns and psychological distress to foster a more empathic, inclusive, and compassionate community
2. Facilitating development of skills to respond effectively to individuals in crisis or struggling with their mental health and refer them to appropriate services
3. Infusing diversity factors and cultural humility, focusing on the unique impacts on Dartmouth communities
