Allergy Care at the Health Service
The Primary Care clinic provides support for students receiving immunotherapy for allergies. Providers additionally offer guidance regarding management of allergic symptoms and can refer to local allergy specialists as indicated. - Students provide their own allergy serum which must be labeled with name, contents, and expiration date. Students must also provide the injection schedule signed by the student's physician.
- Students must remain 30 minutes after injection.
- Every student receiving allergy injections is required to have a personal Epi-Pen with them at the time of each visit.
We will not be able to provide allergy shots during the COVID pandemic.
