·         WISE is an independent, survivor-centered community organization that supports the Dartmouth community by providing confidential, survivor-centered advocacy for students, staff, and faculty. All services are free and available 24/7. WISE's Campus Advocacy helps you explore your options, understand your rights, and connect with campus and/or community resources. WISE also offers facilitated conversations and trainings for groups committed to ending violence.

·         DHMC/SANE if you wish to collect forensic evidence by a SANE exam, this can be completed at the DHMC Emergency Department located at 1 Medical Center Dr in Lebanon

·         Counseling Department at Dick's House talk to a trauma-informed licensed mental health professional to address any emotional, or psychological distress you may be experiencing. To connect to the best counseling resource, call 603 646 9442

·         Primary Care and Preventative Medicine (PCPM) at Dick's House talk to a trauma-informed licensed medical professional to address any concerns you have about your health and your body, including concerns about pregnancy, infection, injury, safety or anything else. call 603 646 9401

·         Inpatient Nursing (IPD) at Dick's House Registered Nurses are available 24/7 by phone, and during Fall, Winter and Spring terms the infirmary is available for nursing care, including a safe place to stay, and support with accessing other resources. call 603 646 9440

 

Mental Health Crisis

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, call the Counseling Center at 603-646-9442.

An emergency/crisis might involve:

  • Thoughts and/or plans to hurt yourself or someone else
  • Engaging in a behavior that is life threatening
  • If you have been assaulted, physically or sexually

Counseling Center office hours:

  • fall, winter, spring terms: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • summer term and term breaks: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

During regular business hours:

  • Call 603-646-9442 and request to speak with the on-call counselor.
  • If you receive voice mail, leave a message with your call back number and be sure your phone is able to receive messages.

After regular business hours: 

  • Call 603-646-9442 and choose option 1 to initiate on-call services.

Medical Advice

During the fall, winter and spring terms you can receive nursing advice 24/7 by calling 603-646-9440.

During summer and intersession call 603-646-9400 for further instructions to contact the Dartmouth College Health Service on-call provider.

Pharmacy Refills or Questions

Refills can be requested anytime by phone 603-646-9456, or email and we will have it ready when you arrive during our business hours. 

If a prescription has no refills, you may need to schedule an appointment with a provider before obtaining more medication. Please schedule anytime online using the Health Service Student Portal or, during clinic hours, you may call the appointment office at 603-646-9401.
