Campus Connect Suicide Prevention Training for Faculty & Staff

This is a 3 hour suicide prevention and crisis intervention training designed for individuals who are in regular contact with students.

Dartmouth utilizes the Campus Connect Suicide Prevention Training which is an evidenced-based suicide prevention and crisis intervention program recognized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in their Best Practice Registry. This training is designed for individuals who are in regular contact with students. As a result of that contact, these individuals are in a position to identify and refer students in crisis to the appropriate mental health resources. 

Campus Connect assists members of the Dartmouth community in: 

- Increasing knowledge of suicide warning signs and language

- Learning and enhancing response skills

- Fostering self-efficacy when responding to students in crisis and referring them to the appropriate campus resources
