As we kick-off the 2024-2025 school year, we are excited to jump-start the term with a variety of community events, information fairs, and chances to learn about and get involved in a variety of opportunities at Dartmouth. Unless otherwise specified, these opportunities are open to students of ALL class years.
Additionally, we encourage you to check out the links to Dartmouth Groups to find information about other programs, open houses, first club meetings, auditions and try-outs for various student clubs and organizations!

Come by South Fairbanks to learn about how you can make your impact while at Dartmouth! We'll have information about social impact internships, service to the local community, immersion trips, ice cream and so much more.

Come meet Tucker Center student leaders, staff, and campus ministers! President Beilock to speak at 4:30. Enjoy free ice cream and popsicles!

Need a job? Several campus employers will be present to personally talk with you about their part-time jobs on-campus & in the Upper Valley. Open to all Dartmouth students!
6:30 - 7:30 PM - BVAC Lobby
First meeting of the term for new and returning members of the Dartmouth Film Society. This meet will act as an orientation session, guiding new members on what to expect from the club with matters ranging from discussions on film, meeting structure, and individual contributions to the enrichment of film studies.

4:30 - 7:30 PM - Paganucci Lounge
Learn about the different ways you can engage in powerful change-making work around the Upper Valley and on-campus at the Social Impact Fair! Drop by to hear about various Youth Education and Mentoring Programs, Social Sector Internships, Local Volunteer Opportunities, Foundations in Social Impact Leadership, SIP courses, Service-oriented Student Organizations, and more!

A virtual information session about the opportunities offered by the Women in Science Project!
Note: This is the first of two sessions. The second will focus specifically on the WISP research internship program and will be held virtually from 4-5PM on 9/23/24.

This evening will feature inspiring speeches from returning students, esteemed faculty, and dedicated staff, who will share their experiences and offer valuable insights into the collegiate journey within the Black community.
6:30 - 8:00 PM - Church of Christ at Dartmouth College Batchelder Lounge
All traditions welcome as we gather to get to know one another and enjoy a homemade meal.
3:00 - 6:00 PM - The Triangle House at 4 N Park St
Join the OPAL team and LGBTQIA+ student advising for our annual welcome back event! This year is extra special as we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Triangle House. We will have a catered BBQ with some expected fare (pork, chicken, mac n cheese, cupcakes) as well as vegan and gluten free options. We will also have massage and acupuncture, student organizations tabling, a DJ, supplies to make friendship bracelets, and so much more.
4:30 - 9:00 PM - Church of Christ at Dartmouth College (CCDC)
Come to our first rehearsal (4:30 - 6:00), stay for free pizza (6:00 - 7:00), and join us for field rehearsal on memorial field if you want to play with us at the first home football game on 9/21!
Note: No Audition Required! Just let us know you're coming so we can prepare for you.

Join Dartmouth Civics, Programming Board and the Rockefeller Center for a voter information fair prior to the Fall-A-Palooza concert!

Celebrate the end of the first week of classes and kickoff the first weekend of the term with an awesome concert featuring COLONY HOUSE and opener MICHELLE.

Join your late-night friends for an after-party! After FALLAPALOOZA join Collis After Dark for a DANCE PARTY IN SARNER! Your favorite DJ's from the Dartmouth Collective "Booth" will be dropping the beats!

Join the Native American Program for a Welcome Back BBQ, lawn games, music, and more!
10:00 PM - 12:00 AM - Collis Center - Common Ground
A tortilla blanket? Musical instruments? Headphones? GAMING SYSTEMS?! You could win ANYTHING at Sur-PRIZE Bingo! Join us for a sur-PRIZING time!
2:00 - 5:00 PM - Shabazz Lawn
The weather is warm and everyone is back on campus! Come outside and enjoy an afternoon of cookout nostalgia with OPAL & DBSAA for our annual Back 2 School BBQ! The event will include classic BBQ dishes, music, and yard games. All that's left to do is for you to get your line-dancing shoes on and join the fun!

Join Outdoor Programs staff to learn about the many outdoor students have access to through the Outdoor Programs office: cabin rentals, gear rentals, trails for hiking and mountain biking, indoor and outdoor climbing, winter activities, etc.! Beverages and treats will be provided.

Join us for the first MoTEAvational Monday of the year, where you can meet the Academic Skills Center team, set goals for fall term, and pot a baby succulent (while supplies last!)

Interfaith Passport equips the interfaith travelers with the principles of pluralism: to be curious, venture out, welcome in, stand tall, and stand with, to engage in interfaith dialogue and actions across Dartmouth's campus. Exploring worldviews, our religious, spiritual and secular cultures and customs, can be a never-ending journey, and it is definitely not linear. Whether you have been on this road for a long time or are just getting started, we invite you each week to a new sacred space on campus.

This fair is open to all students! Interested in learning more about career options and employers who seek Dartmouth talent? Log into the Center for Professional Development's Handshake career platform today (see link on DartHub) to register for this event and access a list of 70+ employers planning to attend. Stop in and meet representatives, many of whom are Dartmouth alumni, from fields that include biotech, life sciences, healthcare, arts, education, consulting, technology, finance, government, research and more!
