As we kick-off the 2023-2024 school year, we are excited to jump-start the term with a variety of community events, information fairs, and chances to learn about and get involved in a variety of opportunities at Dartmouth. Unless otherwise specified, these opportunities are open to students of ALL class years.
Additionally, we encourage you to check out the links to Dartmouth Groups to find information about other programs, open houses, first club meetings, auditions and try-outs for various student clubs and organizations!

11:00am - 1:00pm - Collis Patio (Rain Location: Collis Common Ground)
Come grab a FREE lunch with staff and students while learning about the different departments, organizations, committees, and councils that bring student life to Dartmouth. We'll also have a variety of Dartmouth giveaways and freebies you'll want to pick up!
3:00 - 5:00pm - South end of the Green (Rain Location: Leverone Field House)
Come learn about the variety of student clubs, organizations and opportunities at Dartmouth.

Need something to make your new room feel like home? Shop sustainably featuring numerous mini fridges, plastic storage and shelves, lamps, mirrors, sports equipment, and so much more! All while everything lasts!
Sept. 11th & Sept. 12th at 3:30pm-5:00pm - Berry 178A
Remember those cute first day of school pics you used to take? Remember the days of after school snacks? You're never too old for selfies and snacks. Come to the Academic Skills Center this Monday and/or Tuesday afternoon to take a first day of school photo, which you can send home to your family or stick on your dorm room wall. Back to school snacks will be served.
4:00pm - 6:00pm - South Fairbanks
Come eat ice cream, learn about Tucker interfaith programs, and meet campus ministers and students from various religious groups on campus! President Beilock will come by and speak at 4:30pm!
6:30pm - @Theater on Currier (4 Currier Place)
This event is your chance to hear directly from faculty and student directors about the term's upcoming productions and to learn how you can get involved onstage and/or behind the scenes.
3:00 - 5:00pm - Collis Common Ground
Need a job? Several campus employers will be present to personally talk with you about their part-time jobs on-campus & in the Upper Valley. Open to all Dartmouth students!
4:30 - 6:00pm - Nearburg Art Forum, Black Family Visual Arts Center
Gather with fellow arts lovers and makers for snacks, drinks, and a preview of the Hop 23-24 Season.
4:30 - 7:30pm - Paganucci Lounge, '53 Commons
Interested in making a meaningful impact on the most pressing social issues? Learn how to turn your passion into action at the Social Impact Fair!
8:00pm - Kemeny Courtyard (behind Baker-Berry)
See Dartmouth's talented dance ensembles show off their skills to kick off the year!
3:00 - 5:00pm - Collis Common Ground
Come talk to campus employers and find out about the variety of on-campus jobs available at Dartmouth.
Starting Sept. 14 - Sept. 21 at Various Times - Loew Auditorium, Black Family Visual Art Center
Telluride at Dartmouth debuted in 1987 through a long-standing relationship between the Festival and College. Each year, six films come directly from the Colorado Festival for special advance screenings at the Hopkins Center. This is a unique opportunity for the Dartmouth community to get a sneak peek at great new film. Students tickets are 50% off too!
3:00pm - 5:00pm - Leaving The Tucker Center at 3pm & 4pm
Come explore religious and spiritual sites on campus- and win some bling in the process! Visit any 5 of these locations on campus, solve the puzzle presented by the campus minister or community member, and return to the Tucker Center in South Fairbanks for your prize. Get ready to explore the lushest carpet on campus, a literal labyrinth, and more!

Join PB and Class Councils for an Outdoor Movie! Enjoy popcorn, cotton candy, movie candy, and soda too!

Sian Beilock invites all members of the Dartmouth community to join her for a cook-out on the Tuck Mall. Come celebrate President Beilock's Inauguration by joining friends and coworkers for delicious food and live music!
Rain location will be 53 Commons for boxed lunch pickup.

Dartmouth celebrates the Inauguration of its 19th President, Sian Leah Beilock!
5:00 - 7:00pm - Hood Museum of Art
Celebrate the opening of our new exhibitions! Explore new and current exhibitions, meet curators, and discover a one-night-only pop-up exhibition curated by Beatriz Yanes Martinez, Board of Advisors Curatorial Mutual Learning Fellow, featuring artworks by Latinx artists in celebration of Latinx Heritage Month. Enjoy live music and giveaways!
1:00 - 4:00pm - Hood Museum of Art
Join us for this free drop-in program to learn about historic and contemporary artworks by African and African diaspora artists exploring home and family. Engage in art activities related to textiles and mending, explore the galleries with our interactive guide, and enter a free raffle to win surprise goodies. No registration required.
