Bonfire merchandise is exclusively designed by First-Years! Take advantage of this early opportunity to leave your mark for the entire Dartmouth community! Throughout Bonfire Week, merchandise can be purchased at the Collis Student Center.

2025 Design Contest Guidelines

The Bonfire Design Contest is for First-Years to design this year's Bonfire shirts. Please review the following guidelines for a greater chance of usability:

  1. Make the image screenprint friendly for shirts. Vector images preferred or a high resolution image that can be converted into one. 
  2. No more than 2 colors for printing purposes and to keep sales cost affordable. 
  3. Designs MUST be original content. 
  4. Multiple entries can be submitted.
  5. Must be sent to 2029.class.council@dartmouth.edu by Tuesday, September 16th.

Design entries will be reviewed by this year's selected Bonfire Chairs, First Year Class Council, Student Life staff, and Trademarks staff.

If you have any questions about whether your idea/design, feel free to email 2029.class.council@dartmouth.edu and we will be happy to review the design and advise you. 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Tuesday, September 16th by 11:59pm.

Contest Prizes

The chosen t-shirt design wins a $100 gift card of their choice, free merchandise, and shoutouts through emails, @dartmouth29s_  post, and sales.
