Ordering t-shirts or other merchandise for your organization.
If you are planning to purchase and/or sell something that will display the word Dartmouth, D, or any trademarked images, your design must be approved by the Office of General Counsel, prior to marketing your merchandise, collecting any DA$H, or printing/selling the merchandise.
You must use the "Approved Licensed Vendors" list, which can be found at Trademarks, when printing/selling any student organization merchandise with Dartmouth trademarks or name.
Before placing any orders, email COSO@Dartmouth.edu with your design.
When placing your order for t-shirts or other merchandise that will display the word Dartmouth or any trademarked images, you must use the "Approved Licensed Vendors" list. Find the Approved Licensed Vendors list at: Trademarks.
Pay with a Purchase Card Request if under $2,500, or by invoice from the vendor with a Check to Vendor form if over $2,500.
If your group wishes to use a vendor that is not on the Approved Licensed Vendors list, then the Office of General Counsel would also need to give the vendor temporary approval to print. This would be in addition to design approval and prior to placing your order. We do not recommend this method!
