Dartmouth Night 2025 is scheduled for Friday, October 10th.
In accordance with the State of New Hampshire's outdoor burn ban, Homecoming's Dartmouth Night (Oct. 10) will not include the traditional bonfire this year.
Instead, participants will enjoy a spectacular laser and light show, with music, expanded food offerings, and other festive entertainment around the Green.
Other Dartmouth Night activities will take place as scheduled, including rousing remarks by senior leaders and student athletes, the alumni parade, the house community spirit stations, and the first-year "sweep" to the Green.
This year's Bonfire Committee chairs are planning unique and creative activities leading up to Dartmouth Night. Look out for more details on how to get involved.
The Homecoming Bonfire is a beloved tradition that unites Dartmouth students, alumni, and the entire community. This is a chance to represent Dartmouth at its best. Our priority is the safety and well-being of all members of our community. Please see the bonfire safety plan for guidelines that ensure the festivities will be safe and enjoyable for all.
If you are a member of the Class of 2029 interested in being involved with the Bonfire Build or Bonfire Chair role, please find more information here: Bonfire & First-Year Involvement
First-Years are also responsible for designing merchandise surrounding the weekend. Details on the 2025 Bonfire Design Contest can be found here: Bonfire Design Contest
