Senior Week Schedule 2018

Regalia Pick-up

Regalia will be available for pick-up in The Hop Garage Room 132, Hopkins Center (Across from Courtyard Café) on Thursday, June 7 through Saturday, June 9 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be limited regalia available for purchase for $26, Cash only.

Monday, June 4

6:00PM-7:30PM: Last Dinner @ FOCO 

1953 Commons
  • You voted for your favorite FOCO meals...and FOCO will be cooking them! You must bring your Dartmouth ID to enter. If you do not have any swipes left, Senior Class Council will cover your meal!

8:00PM-10:00PM: Around the World Tails

Check in at ONE Wheelock at 7:45pm (must check in by 8:45pm for drink tickets)
  • Come meet others who will be in the same city/area after graduation. Hosted at various restaurants around town.  Check in at ONE WHEELOCK for FREE DRINK TICKETS & locations!

Tuesday, June 5

11:00AM-1:00PM: “Oh the Places You’ll Go” Senior Brunch

Collis Common Ground
  • Enjoy brunch with your classmates, write letters for your class time capsule or special folks who deserve a thank you, and meet your Class of 2018 Executive Committee - your class officers after graduation.

5:00PM-7:00PM: '18s For Financial Aid Thank You Celebration

Salt Hill Pub
  • Make your gift to ‘18s For Financial Aid and come enjoy a drink and apps on us at Salt Hill as our thank you for your support! You can also give at the door to join the party. Must be 21 or over with ID, one drink ticket per person.

8:30PM: Pub Trivia

Collis Common Ground
  • One last chance to test your knowledge about pop culture, history, and of course, Dartmouth. There will be prizes. Beer & cider will be served.  *Dartmouth and state IDs required.*

Wednesday, June 6

"18's Last Chances" 

10:00AM-1:00PM: Commemorative Poster Printing

Book Arts Workshop (outside Orozco Room in Baker Library)
  • Want to finally take advantage of one of those workshops you’ve been meaning to get to? Come print a special poster just for the Class of 2018.

12PM-4:00PM: Free Rentals at Ledyard

  • Come down to Ledyard and take out a canoe/kayak/paddle board and enjoy the beautiful Connecticut River one last time before graduation! Free rentals!

11:00AM: DOC Mount Cardigan Hike

  • Free for graduating seniors. Email [email protected] with your name and any dietary restrictions to sign up for the hike.

1 PM- 3PM: Jewelry Studio Open Hours

Hopkins Center Basement (across from Paddock Music Library)
  • Come and make a bracelet, ring, or some earrings!

2:00PM-4:00PM: Free Ben & Jerry's

1:30PM-3:45PM: Baker Tower Tours

Meet in Baker-Berry Passage
  • One last chance to get a bird’s eye view of Hanover. Cross it off the bucket list.

3:00PM-6:00PM: Gold Coast Beer Garden

  • Enjoy a barbecue, lawn games, live music, beer & cider with the Class of 2018.
  • For all graduating seniors. *Dartmouth and state IDs required.* Seniors may bring up to 2 guests per student ID. Guests under 21 not allowed. Guests must be pre-registered using this form.  Registration is open until Wednesday, June 6 at 4:00pm.

Friday, June 8

12:00 PM-1:15 PM: Class Connections Barbecue with Class of 1968

  • Cap off your Class Connections experience by enjoying a delicious barbecue with the Class of 1968!

3:00-4:00PM: Mimosas at the Museum

Maffei Arts Plaza, Lebanon Street
  • The Hood Museum of Art is hosting this event for graduates and their families. Enjoy music, light refreshments, and giveaways.

5:30PM-7:30PM: President’s Reception

14 Webster Avenue (Rain Location: Alumni Hall)
  • Please join President Philip J. Hanlon ‘77 and Gail Gentes at a reception for graduates and their guests.

9:30PM: Glee Club Commencement Concert

Spaulding Auditorium
  • The Dartmouth College Glee Club is a group of 40+ serious choral singers, led by Louis Burkot since 1981. Its ever-increasing repertory spans four centuries, with a distinguished performance history including many of the masterworks of choral-orchestral literature, fully staged Gilbert and Sullivan operettas with all-student casts, large and small a cappella works and the cherished songs of Dartmouth College. Recent concerts have included a fully staged and choreographed performance of Leonard Bernstein’s opera Candide and a program of festive English madrigals from the 16th and 17th centuries coupled with courtly music from Henry Purcell’s masque The Fairy Queen. In addition, the Glee Club regularly tours each spring break.

Saturday, June 9

3:00PM: Baccalaureate

Rollins Chapel
  • A multifaith service for all graduates and their guests. This service begins at 3:00PM; doors will open at 2:30PM.

5:00PM: Dartmouth Wind Ensemble Concert

The College Green
  • Celebrate Commencement with a Concert on the Green. This event is free and will take place just beside the Commencement Main Stage. No tickets required.

8:00-11:00PM: Graduation Gala

Collis Center
  • The Collis Center invites all members of the graduating class to a casual celebration in your student center.  An evening of food and live entertainment await.   Bring your family and friends.

11:00PM: Seniors, Set a Watch

Special Event, Meet at Collis Patio
  • Join your classmates for a special Dartmouth tradition as we end our time as undergraduates at the College on the Hill. Full details to be blitzed out on the day of the event.

Sunday, June 10th

  • 8:25AM: Class of 1879 Trumpeters
  • 8:35AM: Baker Library Bells. Guests are encouraged to take their seats by 8:45 a.m.
  • 9:00AM: Academic Procession
  • 9:30AM: Commencement Ceremony

Immediately following the ceremony: diploma distribution in Baker Main Hall, Baker-Berry Library
