About the Program
Why not give yourself a break by cultivating mindfulness, compassion, and well-being? Mindfulness is awareness of the present moment – a state of mind that can be quite difficult to achieve, since most of our time is spent worrying about the past, planning for the future, or imagining “what-if” scenarios. Left unchecked, this constant brigade of thoughts can leave us feeling anxious, stressed, & unfocused.
Each week we’ll explore ways to calm and focus the mind and body through various guided mindfulness exercises followed with time for sharing and questions. No experience necessary!
Drop-in sessions are every Friday of the term, 12:00 -12:30pm at the Student Wellness Center (Robo 322) Fruit & cheese provided!
