Narcan Installation

You can pick up your Opioid Rescue Kit at the Student Wellness Center (Berry 179).

The registration of your kit allows Dartmouth Emergency Medical Services (DEMS) to monitor and maintain the unit.  DEMS will schedule regular maintenance of the unit and replacement of expired naloxone/Narcan. This also alows for a campus-wide registry of available naloxone.

To install the kit:

1. Place the laminated sheet on the wall.
2. Using the blue dot as a guide, screw the hook through the sheet and into the wall. Place the kit on an obvious and accessible wall (Example: near the fire extinguisher).
   1. Do NOT place the kit behind a locked door.
   2. Ensure all members of your organization know the location of your opioid rescue kit.
3. Take a photo of your kit hanging on the wall.
4. Fill out the registration FORM:
   1. Name
   2. Phone #
   3. Organization/Department
   4. Floor and location of unit
   5. Description of how the reach/find the kit from front door
   6. Upload the photo of your installed kit hanging on the wall.
   7. Expiration of product
