This course is open to all students (undergrad and graduate) and will be offered for WE Credit at various times.
This 8-week course, developed by the Student Wellness Center (SWC) and the Teevens Center, is designed to help you strengthen your overall wellbeing and discover what it truly means to thrive—both at Dartmouth and beyond.
Grounded in evidence-based frameworks like Laurie Schreiner's Thriving Quotient, the SWC's Pathways to Wellbeing, and research from positive psychology, this class blends reflection, discussion, and hands-on experiences that support holistic wellbeing.
Each week focuses on a different dimension of thriving and gives you the chance to explore how it shows up in your life—through mindfulness, emotional awareness, mindset, rest, relationships, and purpose. Together, we'll practice tools that help you manage stress, build self-awareness, strengthen connection, and make choices that align with your values.
Throughout the course, you'll also help create a supportive, respectful community where everyone can feel a sense of belonging, share honestly, and grow together.
