Therapy Dog Program

Paused due to COVID Restrictions

Due to the current public health and Dartmouth guidelines, we have paused our therapy dog program for the 2020-2021 academic year. We hope to resume spending time with our furry friends on campus in the near future!

About the Program

We partner with Therapy Dogs of Vermont to bring certified therapy dogs to campus to visit with students. Every week, students get to hang out with Winston, a sweet and gentle Blockhead Labrador Retriever who loves nothing more than spending quality time being pet by students! Winston’s weekly visits currently take place at the House Centers (the Onion and the Cube). For the most updated schedule, please email Student Wellness.

If you’re interested in bringing a certified therapy dog to your on-campus event, we recommend you contact Therapy Dogs of Vermont directly.
