Dawn Gillis came to the Student Wellness Center (SWC) at Dartmouth College having worked in health and wellness, with a focus on research for more than 15 years. After completing her Master of Science degree in Exercise Science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, her career has led to positions such as faculty coordinating a Human Performance Laboratory and serving as Project Director/Manager at institutions in the U.S.A. and abroad. At Dartmouth College, Dawn joined the SWC as the Assessment and Program Evaluation Coordinator four years ago. Much of her work is behind the scenes for programs related to the health and wellbeing of Dartmouth students, such as high-risk drinking prevention, and the Sexual Violence Prevention Project. In her role at the SWC, she works closely with numerous colleagues on- and off-campus.
