Alleah Schweitzer

Wellbeing Program Coordinator

Alleah earned a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Redlands in 2014 and a MA in Anthropology from the University of Idaho in 2019, pursuing her interests in regenerative agriculture. After graduate school, Alleah played a pivotal role in Idaho's first Farm to Early Care and Education initiative, connecting thousands of preschool children to locally grown foods. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she helped establish educational gardens across Idaho to involve disadvantaged children in opportunities for place-based and sensory learning. Inspired by her work connecting youth with the environment through awareness and curiosity, she believes that nurturing our inner qualities holds the potential to bring positive change at a wider scale. Alleah joined Dartmouth's Student Wellness Center team in 2023 to facilitate and advance wellbeing programs that empower all students to flourish in high-achieving settings.
