Whitney Skillen

Whitney was born and raised in North Carolina but has deep roots in the Upper Valley of NH - on her father's side. She earned a B.S. in Public Health from UNC Charlotte in 2014 and earned an MPH from Columbia University in 2016. Her professional experience expands across population health practice and research related to maternal health and infectious disease, clinical research in nephrology and traumatic stress, and pharmaceutical research and consulting. She has been married since 2018 and has a fur baby – a schnauzer mix named Riley. Whitney is on her local school board and likes to be involved in community activities and activism. She enjoys watching and playing sports for fun and riding her e-bike. She loves being on or in water – boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming especially. Whitney cannot live without music and almost always has a playlist going in her office.
