COSO receives an allocation of the "Student Activities Fee" each year from the Undergraduate Finance Committee.
COSO is the primary source of funding for student groups. COSO groups cannot also receive funding from other UFC groups (PB, CGB, SA, GLC, Club Sports, SPEC, DOC, COCO). COSO does not fund groups or individuals that are not recognized by COSO.
COSO funds events that have a total cost of under $5,000. If the total cost is above $5,000, groups must apply to the Special Programs and Events Committee (SPEC). Organizations may request funding over $5,000 for travel, conferences, supplies, equipment, and publications.
