How Room Selection Works
Things to remember!
- Your roommate group must have the right number of members to fill all beds in the room. For example, a double requires two people, while selecting a single means you cannot be in a roommate group.
- Everyone in a roommate group must have a completed housing application and must not be assigned housing through a previous process.
- If participating in your House Room Draw, all group members much belong to your House Community.
- Your assignment is for the fall term. You must confirm housing plans for winter and spring through the Housing Intent/Application for each term.
- For Hanover Senior Apartments, juniors and seniors who applied by April 3rd will be notified of any eligibility issues on April 4th. Eligible students will receive instructions on how their Roommate Group leader must verify their group by April 7th. On April 8th, group leaders will receive their timeslot for the Hanover Senior Apartment Room Draw. Timeslots are assigned based on class year, with all-senior groups receiving the earliest timeslots, followed by mixed senior-junior groups, and finally all-junior groups.
- For Summit on Juniper, House Community, and All-House Room Draws, roommate groups can be created, changed, or dissolved at any time before or during your Room Draw timelot. Remember: The group member with the best selection number should be the "Group Leader", as only they can select a room and assign members.
