Attendance Is Required
All candidates who have not served as a UGA in the two most recent academic years are required to attend a UGA information session. Each session will last up to an hour. For equity and accessibility, an information session has been recorded. This information session is available at the very end of the application inside your StarPortal UGA Self-Service button.
Information sessions are a great way to learn more about the UGA position, hear more about the requirements and time commitments of the UGA role, and learn about the details of the application process. These sessions are meant to provide you with a better understanding of the role before you apply, so please feel free to bring any questions you may have about the role or application process to these sessions.
House communities may offer optional information sessions specifically for members of their house. If your house offers one, we encourage you to attend, but you still must attend one of the required sessions in order to be eligible for the position.
Be aware of dates and deadlines for UGA information sessions.
You will be unable to sign up for a UGA candidate interview if you do not satisfy the requirement for attending a UGA information session.
