About East Wheelock House

East Wheelock House is co-lead by a live-in Residential Education professional staff member and a House Professor who lives nearby. In addition, the East Wheelock House leadership team consists of four Resident Fellows and a team of Undergraduate Advisors (UGAs). An administrative assistant is also a part of the House team and student leadership opportunities exist through the House Executive Council.

Housing Information

Andres, McCulloch, Morton and Zimmerman, the residence halls that make up East Wheelock House, have singles, two room doubles, one room doubles, a few two person and three person suites and four person suites. 

First-year students who are East Wheelock House members will live on a first-year floors within East Wheelock House.

What Type of Room Can I Expect?: Seniors are typically in singles or two person suites, juniors in two room doubles, suites and some singles, sophomores in one room doubles and some suites that have one room doubles.

Gender Inclusive Housing/Single Sex Housing: All doubles and suites may be single gender or multi-gendered. McCulloch and Morton have single-use bathrooms on each floor and all rooms in Andres and Zimmerman have full, private bathrooms (two singles share one bathroom).

Substance-Free Housing: Zimmerman 4th floor is the substance-free housing option in East Wheelock House. We cannot guarantee sub-free housing, but do our best to accommodate all requests.
