Summer Housing Application Information
To apply for summer housing, visit the Housing StarPortal on DartHub. If you're unable to access the application, please contact the Undergraduate Housing Office before the deadline at (603) 646-3093. A late application is available until June 20th at 2pm (ET).
Assignment Process
Summer housing assignments are made by Housing Office staff and are processed in order of room selection numbers. These numbers are assigned randomly, based on your class year and completed application for the term. Students taking summer classes receive priority over those seeking leave term housing.
If you currently live in a building that will be used for summer housing, please note that you cannot remain in that room. These buildings are reserved for Commencement and Reunion guests. If your fall assignment is in a summer term building, we will try to assign you to that room, if possible.
Roommate Groups and Preferences
You may form roommate groups with students from any House Community. For summer housing, room selection numbers do not determine who should be group leader..
When completing your application, you can indicate up to three room type preferences. If you request a single but none are available when your application is processed, we will match you with a roommate based on your profile responses.
Living Learning Communities (LLCs)
If you are applying to an LLC, you must indicate this on your summer housing application and also submit the separate LLC application.
Assignment Timeline
Summer housing assignments will be posted on the Housing StarPortal in mid-May.
