Students taking tests in the SAS/A11y Testing Center need to schedule their own exams in A11y. Professors cannot schedule your accommodated exam in the testing center for you.

Yes, you can schedule before or after your professor completes the Alternative Testing Contract. However, please confirm with your professor that they want you to take the test at the Testing Center before scheduling.
The Testing Center cannot confirm your exam until your professor completes the contract, but you should not wait to schedule the test.

In order to complete the process of scheduling your exam, complete the items below in the "Late Exam Request" field that appear.
Most of all, don't worry. Especially if it's a least three days before your exam, it's likely the Testing Center can find a seat for you.
We will do our best to seat all exams that occur during our normal business hours. However, there may be times when we are fully booked on the date and time needed. If the Testing Center becomes fully booked, both you and your professor will be promptly notified so we can work out an agreeable solution.

Your professor may have approved exams to be taken at a different time or on a different day than when the class is taking the exam. You can check with your professor to learn which times they approve of.
If your professor has indicated that they choose to administer accommodated exams in their course, you can expect to take them with the professor. However, if you would prefer to be seated at the Testing Center for an exam, you can discuss this with your professor.

Please email your professor to alert them that you will not be taking your exam. You will need to work with your professor to determine the acceptable times to reschedule your exam. When an appropriate time is chosen, you will need to reschedule your exam with the Testing Center.
