Register with PaymentWorks
The current- and default method- of receiving payment is via check. Checks are only printed on Wednesdays, and must be picked up at the GLASS office.
The new, preferred method is to arrange for Direct Deposit, i.e. an electronic transfer from the College into your bank account. Direct Deposit is faster (no waiting for Wednesday), simpler (no need to send someone to the GLASS office), cheaper for the College, and eliminates issues like "I lost my check". With Direct Deposit it is possible to send part of the check to one bank account (e.g. alumni group) and the rest to another (students).
To arrange for Direct Deposit, you must register with PaymentWorks.
Please contact the Office of Greek Life Financial Coordinator if you are interested in signing up for PaymentWorks and Direct Deposit. After you meet with the Financial Coordinator, we will communicate with the Dartmouth Finance Office to have an invite sent to your organizational email address (e.g. alpha.beta.gamma@dartmouth.edu).
When you are invited to register via email, you will be required to use your organizational email address, the organization's legal name, its tax ID and a remittance (snail mail) address, best is your HB. You will check ACH as the payment method and you will need to link banking data in the system, which will require account number and routing number. You can have multiple bank accounts, but each will need a different remittance address.
PaymentWorks Vendor Portal (dartmouth.edu)
Dartmouth College has partnered with PaymentWorks to handle the collection, validation, and management of all vendor information. PaymentWorks is a cloud-based software that is both easy and free to use. Vendors will receive an invitation to register and will be able to enter all of their information safely and securely.
