About Greek Life at Dartmouth

Since 1842, fraternity and sorority life has been an exciting and important part of the Dartmouth College experience.

About Us

Recognized Student Organizations within Greek Life and Student Societies agree to uphold six principles through their activities, programs, and philosophies: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Fellowship, Inclusiveness, and Accountability.

Our community is diverse, with both local and inter/nationally affiliated organizations representing the National Panhellenic Conference, the North-American Interfraternity Conference, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Multicultural Greek Council. With over 240 years of history at Dartmouth and representing two-thirds of eligible students, our community is home to over 50 organizations.

The Office of Greek Life and Student Societies is responsible for leadership development, organizational management, and general administration for all GLASS organizations, Greek honor societies, undergraduate societies, and senior societies at Dartmouth.
