Chi Gamma Epsilon

Chi Gamma Epsilon is more than just a fraternity—it is a lifelong network of leaders, innovators, and professionals who stay connected long after graduation. Our alumni include CEOs, professional athletes, military leaders, entrepreneurs, and public servants, all of whom contribute to the fraternity's strong network and mentorship opportunities. At its core, Chi Gam remains a fraternity where brothers come as they are, following the house motto, and leave with lifelong friendships, leadership skills, and a deep connection to the house at 7 Webster Avenue.

Our Legacy and House at 7 Webster Avenue

Chi Gamma Epsilon has called 7 Webster Avenue home since 1914, when the first fraternity house was built by its members. As the fraternity grew, the house was rebuilt in 1937 to accommodate the expanding brotherhood. Over the years, Chi Gam has undergone several renovations, including major improvements in 2005, 2011, and 2016, ensuring that the house remains a central gathering place for members and alumni.

The house continues to serve as a hub for brotherhood events, philanthropy, and alumni engagement, preserving traditions while adapting to the evolving Dartmouth community.

Philanthropy and Service

Chi Gamma Epsilon is deeply committed to philanthropy and community service, actively supporting local and national initiatives through fundraising and hands-on involvement. Recent efforts include:

Raising $2,000 for The Prouty, supporting cancer research and patient services.

Donating $5,000 to Movember, promoting awareness for men's health issues.

Volunteering at the Hanover Community Kitchen, providing meals for local residents.

Partnering with local foundations to support mental health awareness and fundraising efforts.

The fraternity's commitment to service extends beyond Dartmouth, with members frequently participating in charitable events, fundraising drives, and mentorship initiatives that make a lasting impact.
