Clean Grounds Policy

Policy Statement

  • Property must be free of ALL litter by 8 a.m. every day of the year
  • Grounds must be free of litter at all times
  • Trash cans may be on the lawns during an event only, and then removed when the event is over
  • Lawns must be kept neatly trimmed
  • All post-event cleanup must be completed by 8 a.m. the morning immediately following the event


If the Clean Grounds Policy is violated, the following sanctions with occur on a termly basis:

  • First offense: If an organization fails Clean Grounds, the organization will be notified by the Associate Director of Residential Operations and receive a warning. A re-inspection will occur within a 72 hour period. It is an expectation that an organization pass the re-inspection.If the organization fails the re-inspection, a plan of action for keeping the exterior of the house and the grounds clean must be submitted to the Associate Director of Residential Operations.
  • Second offense: The organization will be assessed a $200.00 fine.
  • Third and subsequent offenses: If the organization fails another Housekeeping Inspection during the term, the organization will automatically receive two weeks of social probation including no alcohol in the common areas.
