Hunter Carlheim

Director, Greek Life and Student Societies

Hunter Preston Carlheim brings nearly a decade of experience in higher education focused on advancing the Fraternity & Sorority Life industry. He has overseen leadership development, training programs, crisis management, membership intake and onboarding, strategic planning, and coaching programs aimed at building safe, educated, empowered, and inclusive chapters and communities. His career reflects leadership roles at institutions including Phi Delta Theta International Headquarters and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Across these roles, Hunter has adopted a relationship-driven approach to working with student organizations, stakeholders, campus partners, and industry experts. Through leadership programs, coaching, and health and safety initiatives, Hunter has worked with over 80 college campuses, 175 chapters, and 30,000 students. A native of Pennsylvania, he holds a BA in Secondary Education and Applied Mathematics from Robert Morris University and an MS in Educational Psychology & Instructional Technology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Additionally, Hunter is a certified Gallup Clifton Strengths coach, Hazing Prevention Advocate, and Safe Zone facilitator. As a volunteer, he supports fraternal organizations on both international and local levels, is a dedicated fundraiser and volunteer for The LiveLikeLou Foundation, and serves on the membership experience and recruitment team for the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors. Hunter's professional experience, contributions, and accomplishments underscore his unwavering commitment to educating and empowering today's students through leadership development, ethics, integrity, safety, values, and passion. He aims to educate and empower thriving individuals who can solve tomorrow's challenges and inspire others to leave the world better than they found it.
