The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers students and young professionals opportunities to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, English teaching (primary, secondary, or university), or artistic endeavors abroad. The program currently awards approximately 1,100 grants annually in all fields of study, and operates in more than 140 countries.

The Fulbright Study/Research awards are offered for projects in all Academic and Creative & Performing Arts fields. Applicants can propose their own independent study/research projects or, in some countries, can propose to enroll in a graduate program.
