Chevening Scholarship

About the Scholarship

Chevening Scholarships enable outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue fully-funded one-year master's degrees in the UK. Recipients will live and study in the UK for a year, during which time they will develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships with the UK.

Eligibility

To be elegible for a Chevening Scholarship, every applicant must:

  • Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory  
  • Commit to returning to your home country for at least two years after your scholarship ends.
  • Have at least 2,800 hours of work experience after graduating from your undergraduate degree
  • Hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies you for a UK master's programme
  • Have finished your undergraduate studies at least two years before the application deadline
  • Apply to three different and eligible UK university courses
