AUSTRALIA AWARDS
The Australia Awards provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Indo-Pacific region, to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions. ERASMUS MUNDUS
Erasmus Mundus is a co-operation program in higher education that promotes the European Union as a center of excellence in learning. It supports European top-quality Masters Courses through a Consortium of four institutes from the following universities: London School of Economics and Political Science (Economic History Department); University of Vienna (Institute of History; University of Wroclaw (Willy Brandt Centre for German and European Studies); University of Leipzig (Centre for Advanced Studies (ZHS)). FULBRIGHT FOREIGN STUDENT PROGRAM
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is for study or research in the U.S. The Fulbright Program supports educational exchanges that strengthen understanding and communication between the United States and over 140 countries. More than 1,300 new Foreign Fulbright Fellows enter US academic programs each year. For application deadlines, please contact the Fulbright Program Office in your home country.
GOVERNMENT OF IRELAND INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES) programme supports high-calibre international students who wish to study for a master's, postgraduate diploma or PhD in Ireland. The programme is funded by the Government of Ireland in partnership with Irish higher education institutions (HEIs) and managed by the Higher Education Authority. Under the initiative, 60 scholarships are awarded each year for one year of full-time study. In order to be eligible for a Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship, applicants must have a domiciliary of origin outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
HUMANITY IN ACTION
Humanity in Action offers four Summer Fellowship programs in Copenhagen, Sarajevo, Amsterdam, and Berlin. Fellows are equipped with knowledge of how to engage with society's greatest challenges and explore concrete ways of action. Current college students or recent graduates who are citizens or residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine, and the United States can apply. Eligibility criteria differ depending on whether you are applying from the United States or applying from Europe.
MANDELA RHODES
The Mandela Rhodes Scholarship is for citizens of African countries who want to use their talents to serve Africa. In addition to a scholarship for postgraduate studies at any recognized university in South Africa, recipients participate in a Leadership Development Programme. Applications open in March and close in April each year.
MCCALL MACBAIN SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year, the McCall MacBain Scholarship program offers up to 20 full scholarships for graduate/professional study at McGill University, along with up to 60 awards of $5000 or $10,000 CAD. Only Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or those with refugee status are eligible. Interested students must also apply concurrently to a graduate program at McGill.
SAMUEL HUNTINGTON PUBLIC SERVICE AWARD
The Samuel Huntington Public Service Award provides a $30,000 stipend for a graduating college senior to pursue public service anywhere in the world. The award allows recipients to engage in a meaningful public service activity for one year before proceeding on to graduate school or a career. All graduating seniors from accredited US colleges are invited to apply.
QUAD FELLOWSHIP
The Quad Fellowship is an initiative of the governments of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States. Announced by the Quad partners on September 24, 2021, this first-of-its-kind scholarship program is designed to build ties among the next generation of scientists and technologists. Schmidt Futures operates the program in consultation with a non-governmental task force composed of academic, foreign policy, and private sector leaders from each Quad country.
This program sponsors 100 exceptional American, Japanese, Australian, and Indian master's and doctoral students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to study in the United States. The fellowship develops a network of science and technology experts committed to advancing innovation and collaboration in the private, public, and academic sectors, in their own nations and among Quad countries. The program builds foundational understanding among Quad Fellows of one another's societies and cultures through cohort-wide trips and robust programming with each country's top scientists, technologists, and politicians.
