AMERICAN ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION SUMMER PROGRAM
The American Economic Association Summer Program increases the participation and advancement of women and underrepresented minorities in economics. The fellowship allows the fellow to spend a summer in residence at a sponsoring research institution. Apply as a Junior.
THE BRIDGE TO ASIA FELLOWSHIP
The NBR Bridge to Asia Fellowship provides exceptional undergraduate and community college students with immersive professional experience in Asia policy and international affairs. Fellows gain hands-on research training, mentorship from leading experts, and opportunities to publish their work while building lasting professional networks. Through paid summer fellowships in Washington, D.C., participants join NBR's research teams to deepen their understanding of critical policy challenges in the Indo-Pacific region. Eligibility: Currently enrolled undergraduate students at the first-year, sophomore, or junior level who are authorized to work in the United States.

CONFERENCE ON ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN LEADERSHIP (CAPAL)
CAPAL awards two scholarships to outstanding Asian Pacific American college undergraduate and graduate students for summer internships in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Applicants committed to the breadth and diversity of the Asian Pacific American community, including but not limited to economic, ethnic, generational, and regional diversity, are especially encouraged to apply. Application deadline: Late February - Early March.
DAAD RISE GERMANY
DAAD RISE (Research Internships in Science and Engineering) Germany offers summer research internships in Germany for undergraduates from North America, Great Britain, and Ireland. During internships, students are matched with doctoral student mentors with whom they work closely. Interns receive a monthly stipend to cover everyday costs while host universities and institutes provide housing assistance. About 300 scholarships are offered each year. The German language is not required as the working language will be English.
The objective of the grant is to promote student exchange to Germany in the fields of natural science, engineering, and life sciences, and to motivate undergraduate students to learn more about Germany's research landscape and study opportunities.
JAPAN STUDIES RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP
The U.S.-Japan relationship is critically important in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific, and the challenges both countries face require serious consideration and a deeper understanding on the part of scholars and policymakers alike. To address these needs, NBR has established the Japan Studies Research Fellowship to cultivate a new generation of U.S.-Japan specialists and leaders and to build stronger bridges between the United States and Japan. The program consists of an intensive, summer-long research and professional development program designed for current undergraduate, community college, and graduate students who are interested in or focus on Japan studies, U.S.-Japan relations, and/or Japanese foreign policy.
NEW HAMPSHIRE SEA GRANT
NH Sea Grant offers fellowships to both undergraduate and graduate students: New Hampshire Sea Grant's Brian E. Doyle Undergraduate Marine Extension Fellowship offers motivated undergraduates the opportunity to receive hands-on training and field or lab experience during the summer. Fellows spend the summer working with NH Sea Grant staff and researchers seeking to help individuals and organizations make informed decisions regarding our marine resources. The fellowship is intended for students who are interested in connecting marine-related research to extension, education, and communications activities. Successful applicants will receive a $3,000 stipend over an 8-week summer fellowship.
PUBLIC POLICY & INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS JUNIOR SUMMER INSTITUTE
The PPIA Junior Summer Institute is an intensive seven-week summer program that focuses on preparing students for graduate programs in public and international affairs and careers as policy professionals, public administrators, and other leadership roles in public service. Apply as a Junior.
WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON SCHOLARSHIPS
The William Jefferson Clinton Scholarships is a semester study at the American University in Dubai. Open to currently enrolled full-time undergraduate students. Recipients will demonstrate exemplary academic achievement. Provision has been made for up to 10 students per semester. Preference will be given to students who show interest in being exposed to the Middle Eastern and Islamic culture for the first time.
