Presidential Scholars

Part-time faculty-mentored research assistantships during junior year. Eligible sophomores apply for the program in the spring of sophomore year.

Leave Term Grants

Funding for full-time research with a Dartmouth faculty mentor during a leave term. Students apply each term for research in the following term.

Honors Thesis Grants

Funding for expenses directly related to senior honors thesis research. Students apply each term for research expenses that will be incurred in the following term.

Conference Funding

Funding for undergraduates to present faculty-mentored research at national or international conferences and academic meetings. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Stamps Scholars

Funding for students to engage in a series of active learning activities that contribute to and complement their coursework. Students apply in the winter of sophomore year to be a Stamps Scholar as a junior and senior.

Senior Fellowships

Senior Fellowships are an alternative to a traditional major, and the program also provides funding for fellowship projects. Students apply in the the spring of junior year to be Senior Fellows during their senior year.

The MMUF program addresses the problem of underrepresentation in the academy at the level of college and university faculties. Students apply in the winter of sophomore year to be Fellows in junior and senior year.
