Publishing research
Students who engage in faculty-mentored research may have the opportunity to publish their work in an academic journal. There are fees associated with publishing in some but not all journals. In some cases, these fees can be substantial.
Undergraduate Research programs (e.g. URAD, Presidential Scholars, leave term research grants) do not provide funding for publishing. Students should consult with their faculty research mentors about options. See also the Scholarly Communication, Copyright, and Publishing page on the Dartmouth Libraries website.
