End of term reporting
Students are required to submit an end of term form by the last day of exams. The form includes the following:
- Confirmation that you fulfilled the requirements of the grant
- Research summary (100-250 words for each of the following)
- Summary of the project, progress and conclusions
- What you gained from engaging in the research (e.g. interaction with your faculty mentor, insights into a field of study, contribution to your academic and/or career goals)
- How the grant funding helped you accomplish the research
- Evaluation of the research experience
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
- Students who were awarded funding from the Mellam Family Foundation are required to present a poster at the Karen E. Wetterhahn Science Symposium in May. See the instructions for designing and printing a poster. Students will then email the PDF of their poster to Undergraduate Research, and the PDF will be shared with the Mellam Family Foundation.
