Deafness or Hard of Hearing

General Information

Please start by reviewing SAS' general documentation guidelines. It is usually helpful if students who are D/deaf or hard of hearing provide SAS with a current audiogram by a licensed audiologist along with information about the functional impacts. In addition, SAS is in a better position to recommend appropriate supports when provided information from the student and their school regarding past experiences and supports. Much of this information can be provided via our online SAS Verification Form.
