The Consortium of Studies in Race, Migration, and Sexuality (RMS) is excited to announce a workshop led by Professor Mingwei Huang, Mellon Faculty Fellow (MFF) in the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program (WGSS). These workshops are designed to introduce our RMS-affiliated postdocs and junior faculty to the Dartmouth community. While our undergraduate students are the intended audience, everyone—including other faculty and postdocs—is welcomed to join.

Professor Huang will share an overview of her research project Sino-African Worlds: Remaking Race and Capitalism in the 21st Century, including recent and upcoming fieldwork in South Africa and China and new archival research. This workshop will be useful for fellows and scholars interested in feminist ethnographic methods, transnational and multi-sited research, and comparative approaches to race.

Snacks will be provided.
