Learning at Dartmouth Peer Facilitator: The Mindful Academic

Gideon Gruel is a '26 who grew up in different places around the United States, on both the East and West coasts. He is a double major in Philosophy and Classical Languages and Literatures and is thinking about attending law school after Dartmouth. On campus, Gideon is involved with the Mock Trial Society, the Tucker Center, the Dartmouth Law Journal, and the Energy Justice Clinic. He also conducts research on the history of media through the Leslie Center's C19 Research Fellowship. This Fall, he was studying abroad on an exchange program with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he studied Arabic and Hebrew. In addition to his academic and co-curricular activities, Gideon enjoys taking road trips, browsing through thrift stores or antique shops, and drinking yerba mate. He is excited to support and collaborate with students on their manifold journeys towards mindfulness this term.
