Will there be out-of-class activities?
Yes, as the course is designed to have you engage with campus resources, you will be expected to do some of that engagement outside of class.
For example, as part of this course, you may visit the writing center to work on a class assignment of your choosing--an assignment unrelated to this course. In class, you would complete an activity that enables you to share your experience with your classmates.
Note, you will be given time-credit for all outside of class activities. This will ensure you do not exceed the 12 participation hours required for achieving credit in this course.
