Learning at Dartmouth

About the Program

Learning at Dartmouth is a program offered just for first year students and new transfer students every Fall term.

Students will be introduced to key learning strategies and important resources that will allow them to get the most out of their Dartmouth experience. Learning strategies include time management, class notetaking, writing college essays, stress management, exam preparation, and textbook reading. Key resources include the Undergraduate Deans, the Student Wellness Center, the Counseling Center, and the Office of Pluralism and  Leadership.

The program runs for 16 sessions and meets twice a week beginning the second week of the term. If students attend 13 of these sessions, they are eligible to receive 1 PE Credit.

Please look for Campus Listserv emails and monitor the New Student Orientation Canvas page for more updates at the start of Fall term.
