Learning at Dartmouth

About the Program

Learning at Dartmouth is a program offered just for first year students and new transfer students. Students will be introduced to key learning strategies and important resources that will allow them to get the most out of their Dartmouth experience.

Learning strategies include time management, class notetaking, writing college essays, stress management, exam preparation, and textbook reading.

Key resources include the Undergraduate Deans, the Student Wellness Center, the Counseling Center, and the Office of Pluralism and Leadership.

The program runs for 16 sessions and meets twice a week beginning the second week of the term. If students attend 13 of these sessions, they are eligible to receive 1 PE Credit.

For Fall 2021, the program will not be held due to PE Credits being on hold.

Please look for Campus Listserv emails advertising ASC workshops that will be held throughout the term. An update about the status of Learning at Dartmouth being offered Winter 2022 will be posted in December.
