Finding An OPAL Space

OPAL is connected to a number of reservable spaces on campus.

  • Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies (LALAC) House
    • 38 N. Main Street

The LALAC House provides a residential and educational environment devoted to the exploration and expression of traditional and contemporary aspects of Latin American and Latinx intellectual, social, and cultural life.

  • Pan Asian Community (PAC) Room
    •  Robinson Hall, Room 110

The Pan Asian Community (PAC) Resource Room has served as a multi-purpose community space since 2001. The room is open 24/7 for use as a gathering and study space, as well as the home of the Pan Asian Community Library. Student groups and organizations may reserve the room for one-time use or regular meetings throughout a term. Reservation priority is given to student groups and organizations associated with OPAL's affinity communities.

  • Rainbow Room
    • Robinson Hall 105 & 107

The Rainbow Room has a little queer library with a variety of fiction and nonfiction titles, some study areas, and is reservable on EMS. Since it's in Robinson Hall, it is open around the clock and is a space that centers LGBTQIA+ people.
