Stylist Services

OPAL and graduate school partners work with The Suite, LLC to bring a stylist specializing in curly, wavy, and coily hair types to Hanover. 

Stylist services will be provided at The People's Barber Shop, 44 South Main Street, Hanover.

Fall '24 Dates:

  • Sunday, October 6th
  • Sunday, October 27th

Appointment requests are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis on the dates listed above.

Sean Taylor, owner of the People's Barbershop and Shave Parlor, provides full traditional barbering services and caters to all hair types.

Financial Assistance

A Dartmouth student discount is available for undergraduate and graduate student communities on campus.

Stylist Services: When scheduling services online, include student status on the booking form (Net ID, school affiliation).

  • Service Price $60 or less: $10 off
  • Service Price $61 to $100: $15 off
  • Service Price $100+: $20 off

Barber Services: *Process Update* Vouchers are available to be picked up in Collis (303H) or associated graduate school location via appointment M-F (meghan.paulette@dartmouth.edu). When scheduling online, choose the 'pay in person' option and redeem voucher with Sean at the time of service for $10 discount.
