Ellie Anders Thompson

Ellie founded an interfaith dialogue at West Texas A&M with a coffee in one hand, and all the courage she could muster in the other. From her experience grew a desire to work in diversity and inclusion efforts promoting interfaith engagement. Ellie spent 10 years in Utah serving an AmeriCorps VISTA year at Salt Lake Community College, elected as Vice Chair of the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable, and building a strong foundation of interfaith engagement at the Reflection Center at Utah Valley University. She has had the privilege of being a trainer and mentor for various Interfaith America programs. She organized regional Interfaith Leadership Labs and was honored to be chosen as a Germanacos Fellow where she worked on intergenerational interfaith dialogue.
