OPAL Connections

OPAL Connections maintains an emphasis on social justice education where students engage with issues of identity, diversity, and community. This 8-hour retreat promotes a shared language around and understanding of the issues OPAL’s work addresses. OPAL Connections helps students develop a sense of agency and capacity to interrupt and change oppressive patterns and behaviors in themselves and in the institutions and communities of which they are a part. The OPAL Connections curriculum is structured to include a variation of activities to inspire conversation, personal reflection, and collaborative processes.
