Join us for an afternoon of fun in the sun! Cookout & Canoes is a free summer event where you can paddle the river, enjoy delicious food, vibe to music, and connect with community. We’ll have canoes available, special guests including Jay Davis as a guest paddle guide, and a mix of wellness and creative activities like a mindfulness walk and community organizations tabling. We will also have resources connected to river/water and sun safety as we kick off summer happenings on campus.
Grab a bite from with options from Boloco and cool down with Kona Ice, or hang out by the river with equipment courtesy of Ledyard Canoe Club and the Office of Pluralism & Leadership. This is a perfect chance to soak up summer, meet new people, and enjoy the outdoors.
Hosted in collaboration with OPAL and campus/community partners including Ledyard Canoe Club, Student Wellness, Positive Tracks, and the First Generation Office. Free and open to all Dartmouth students, staff and faculty!
