My journey into the world of process-based education began nearly ten years ago, when I transitioned from content-based education to process-based support as an academic coach. That rewarding experience led me to eventually join Dartmouth's Academic Skills Center where I first served as the Assistant Director for Student Transitions and Persistence. In that role, I expanded our Learning at Dartmouth program's reach by opening enrollment to all undergraduate students and introducing two new courses—The Mindful Academic and Navigating Your College Journey. All courses focus on the intersection of academic achievement and holistic wellness and incorporate elements of mindfulness, helping students to find balance as they navigate Dartmouth.
