May 17th, 4-5PM: Hindu Human Library

A Human Library is a community storytelling effort wherein similar to a library space, you can check out books but the “books” here are real people! They share their lived experiences and unique religious practices interwoven with their identities and provide a chance for you to dialogue, interact and ask questions. Come witness the diversity of what ‘Hinduism’ means to different people through colorful stories and dive deeper into religious understanding.

May 17th, 5:30 - 6:30PM: Trivia Night

Following the Human Library event, there will be a lively Trivia Night in collaboration with Al-Nur, the Muslim Student Association of Dartmouth. We will quiz you on lesser known (and really fun) Hindu traditions, practices and myths, and uncover pluralistic ties with other world religions.

Oh, and did we mention? There will be Desi food!

We hope that all of us take home a bit more empathy, a bit more kindness, and more nuance as we talk about the Hindu faith.
