Funding Guidelines
- All events must connect to the mission and purpose of the organization.
- Events should be open to the entire campus and advertised via the campus-events listserv at least one week before the event.
- All programs must be offered virtually/remotely. Whenever possible, please consider the accessibility of such programs to students with different needs, resources and time zones.
- Funding should be for the good of the organization or community and not individual in nature.
- Programs should have no cost to students.
- Organizations may apply for funding for up to 3 events during summer term.
- Co-sponsorship with other organizations is encouraged.
- No funding of weekly meetings for normal organization planning or business.
- No funding for recruitment of new members.
- No funding for postage or mailing.
- Funding is only for events during summer term 2020. Events during reading period, interim, or finals will not be considered.
- Funding for prizes will be considered under the following guidelines:
- Prizes many only be awarded to students "in residence."
- Prizes must enhance the experience of the event.
- Prizes must support a competitive activity or event. (ex. virtual team trivia competition)
- Prizes must be virtual in nature (ex. online gift card).
