Senior or Other Graduating Undergraduate Prize Nominations

Each June, the prizes awarded to seniors or other graduating undergraduates on Class Day represent a profound opportunity for Dartmouth to recognize and honor individual excellence and contributions to Dartmouth in several categories.

Seniors or students in their graduating year are eligible for the Barrett All-Round Achievement Cup, the Hannah T. Croasdale Award, the Philip D. McInnis '36 Award, the Grace and James S. Parkes 1920 Prize, and the Mina H. Warren Scholarship Prize - visit the Senior or Graduating Undergraduate Prizes webpage for more information.

Nominations are now being accepted for members of the Class of 2025 and other graduating undergraduates. We encourage staff, administrators, and faculty to nominate worthy students for recognition.

CLASS OF 2028 STUDENT PRIZES

The Katharine B. Brock Prize

The Katharine Booth Brock Prize, established in 1974 will be awarded to a member of the Class of 2028 in recognition of loyalty to the ideals of the College, service to the Dartmouth community, and concern for the welfare of others.

Additionally, the prize seeks to recognize outstanding academic achievement, as well as contribution in other areas that indicate the qualities of fairness, respect for duty, and citizenship.

William S. Churchill Prize

The William S. Churchill Prize, established in 1924 in memory of William S. Churchill, Class of 1927, will be awarded to a member of the Class of 2028 whose academic achievement is outstanding and whose record of contribution in other areas indicates those qualities that Mr. Churchill wished to reward, especially those of fairness, respect for duty, and citizenship. Additionally, the prize seeks to recognize loyalty to the ideals of the College, service to the Dartmouth community, and concern for the welfare of others.

Nominations for 2024 are closed. We will open nominations for the Class of 2028 in Winter 2025, seeking nominations from staff, administrators, and faculty.

JUNIOR PRIZE NOMINATIONS

THE RANNY B. CARDOZO, JR. 1978 AWARD

The Ranny B. Cardozo, Jr. 1978 Award is presented each year to "the outstanding member of the Junior class who most exemplifies Ranny B. Cardozo's academic enthusiasm, genuine concern for fellow classmates, and dynamic participation in campus and community activities." A committee of students in the Senior class, chaired by the previous year's Cardozo prize recipient, recommends a recipient to the Dean of the College.

Nominations for 2024 are closed. We will open nominations for the Class of 2026 in Winter 2025, seeking nominations from staff, administrators, and faculty as well as members of the Senior class.
